Refund and Return Policy

At Pure Ceylon Gems, we are committed to ensuring the highest quality and satisfaction with our products. However, due to the nature of our items, returns and refunds are subject to the following terms:

We have a 14-day return policy for loose gemstones. You have 14 days from the date of receipt to initiate a return.

To be eligible for a return:

  1. The item must be in the same condition as received and in its original packaging.
  2. All certificates of authenticity for the gemstones must be included.
  3. Proof of purchase (e.g., receipt) is required.

To start a return, contact us at info@pureceylongems.com.au with the following details:

  1. Reason for the return.
  2. Photos or videos of the items and their condition.
  3. Proof of purchase.

Important: Items sent back without prior written approval from us will not be eligible for a refund.

If your return is accepted, we will provide a return shipping number and instructions on how and where to send your package.

If approved for return, the customer is responsible for:

  1. The cost of return postage.
  2. Securing items with protective packaging (e.g., bubble wrap and cushioning) in durable postal boxes to prevent damage during transit.
  3. Ensuring all shipments are trackable and require a signature upon delivery.

Upon receiving the returned items, we will inspect the gemstones and their accompanying documentation. Refunds will only be processed once we confirm that the items are undamaged, in their original packaging, and include all necessary documentation (e.g., certificates of authenticity).

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If the item is defective, damaged during transit, or the wrong item was sent, you have 3 business days from receipt to contact us and report the issue. We will evaluate the problem and take steps to resolve it.

If you wish to exchange an item, the fastest way is to return the current item (following the return process above) and place a new order for the desired item.

Pure Ceylon Gems is not liable for any damage to gemstones caused by handling or work done by other jewellers or craftsmen. This includes:

  • Setting the gemstone.
  • Resizing, engraving, or repairing.

Ownership and care of the gemstone pass to the client upon receipt. We are not responsible for any damage to the gem after it has been handed over to the client.
